About ACCESS Education Consulting

Advocacy, Collaboration, Consultation, Evaluation, and Student Support

ACCESS Education Consulting was founded on the belief that effective special education services should be individualized, evidence-based, and centered on meaningful outcomes for students and families.

Founder Dr. Emilia Endean, Ed.D., BCBA, LBA, brings more than 20 years of experience in special education and applied behavior analysis. Her professional experience spans classroom teaching, district-level behavior consultation, clinical supervision, professional development, and collaboration with educators, related service providers, and families. She holds a Doctorate in Special Education and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst.

Dr. Endean's work is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience. As a parent of three children, including a child with an IEP, she understands special education not only as an educator and behavior analyst, but also as a parent navigating the process. This combination informs ACCESS's commitment to helping families understand their options, participate meaningfully in educational decision-making, and collaborate effectively with school teams.

Her commitment to improving special education extends beyond individual students and families. Dr. Endean has contributed to state-level initiatives focused on strengthening special education practices, family engagement, and service for students with disabilities. She is also actively involved in her local Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG), supporting collaboration between families and their school community. Her professional and community involvement reflects a broader commitment to improving special education systems and ensuring student and family perspectives remain central to educational decision-making.

Through ACCESS Education Consulting, Dr. Endean brings these perspectives together to provide families, educators, and schools with thoughtful, collaborative, and practical support.
